Today, February 15, is the International Day against Childhood Cancer.
250.000 children worldwide suffer from various forms of cancer, 80% of which are in middle- and low-income countries. 300.000 children and adolescents under the age of 20 are diagnosed with cancer each year. This day is of special importance for all of us, as we must raise awareness, inform and support the children-fighters as well as their families in every way.
Loukas Fourlas, sends his own message on this day against childhood cancer through a tweet and a photo, which demonstrates the true power of the soul. He is one of the parents who mourns the loss of his child due to childhood cancer.
