In ancient Chinese practices, almond oil was used for centuries to soothe and soften the skin and to heal small wounds and cuts. Today, we can find almond oil in various beauty products since this oil is enriched with many vitamins such as vitamin E, vitamin C and omega 3.

But how do you incorporate it into your daily facial care routine? Discover below the 3 ways that will make your skin glow!

As a make-up remover

To use it as a make-up remover, apply a small amount - about the size of a pea - to your palm. Using your fingers, gently apply the oil to the areas where you want to remove makeup.

Then use make-up remover or hot water discs to remove the oil. Finally, rinse your face with your favorite cleanser.

As a cleanser

Almond oil has the ability to transport other essential oils deeper into the skin.

You can mix almond oil with an essential oil that is known to benefit the skin, such as rose, lavender, or lemon oil. Be sure to try the essential oil on the inside of your elbow or wrist before applying it to your face.

Add a few drops of the essential oil to the almond oil and mix well. Apply the oil mixture on wet skin and rinse with warm water. Because it is an oil cleaner, you may need to rinse it twice to remove any residue.

As a moisturizer

You can also use almond oil as a moisturizing oil.

To do this, cleanse and dry your skin as usual. Then gently apply a small amount of almond oil on your face with your fingers and let it absorb through your skin. If you use it as a moisturizer, you do not need to rinse it.
