Three items to avoid with vinegar

Vinegar is considered one of the best natural cleaners while many clean their windows exclusively with it.

However, there are some surfaces and materials that the use of vinegar for cleaning should be avoided.

See three of them…

Granite benches
The acids should not be mixed with natural stones such as marble and granite. Such a compound can cause cracks and make the surfaces lose their luster. Therefore it is better to clean these surfaces with soap and water.

Kitchen knives
If the knives are made of carbon steel then it is best not to expose them to an acid such as vinegar. This will prevent rust from forming.

Wooden floors
Wooden floors should only be cleaned with either liquid soap and water with a very well drained mop or with a dry mop. Vinegar can not make them shiny and should be avoided.
