The most magical celebration of the year is approaching. Christmas and New Year are probably the best days of the year for kids.
Christmas presents definitely "color" the children's holidays and the children will always be waiting for their gift, but it is good to show them that this holiday is not only for the gift that Santa Claus will bring them. The meaning of the symbolic gesture unfortunately acquires a different hue and the festive atmosphere of Christmas often loses its spiritual dimension.
Take the opportunity to show your child that behind the Christmas party, it is not only the impressive shops with their showcases, gifts and sweets. Here are some tips to help your kids get through this period as best they can.
1. Decorate the Christmas tree with your child
Children always seem willing to put balls and ornaments on the tree and generally take part in decorating the house.

Parents can discuss the meaning of love with their child, recounting events and explaining the miracle of Christmas.
3. Make Christmas cakes together

Of course, the most important thing that children want is to spend time to play with them and especially to get into the magic of Christmas. Listen to Christmas carols and sing together. Take time to play with the toy you gave him and the joy of the children then becomes really huge.
7. Take walks
Take a walk together where everything is decorated with lots of lanterns and beautiful tall Christmas trees. A walk in the decorated streets will make the child feel happy and understand the festive character of Christmas.
8. Write a letter to Santa Claus!
Millions of children write a letter to the sweetest grandfather on the planet every year. A grandfather in a red suit filling his sack, not only with gifts, but also hope and feelings. When writing the letter, take the opportunity to discuss with your child everything that has happened over time, sharing experiences and feelings he or she has had. Do not forget to answer Santa Claus in the letter and read the answer.
And do not forget that the "key" of childhood memories are emotions. The child may not remember the gifts he received every Christmas but he will surely remember what he felt and felt these days.
