OWNED ACHNA MEMORIAL DAY
49 YEARS LATER... since that black day when the barbarian Attila stepped on the sacred grounds of the beautiful Achna, the Community Council and organized groups of the community are organizing a protest event.
On Sunday 27/08/2023 at 9:30 a.m. all Achniotes are invited to take part in the event to demonstrate our desire to return.
EVENT PROGRAM:
-9:30am Gathering outside Dasous Achnas cemetery.
- 300m course up to the barbed wire outside occupied Achna.
-Commandation for return by the priests of our community.
-Greeting from Community Leader Achnas.
-Speech by the Director of Primary Education Mr. Savva Pitsillo.
-Poems from our local folk poets.
Anti-occupation songs will be played throughout the event.
