With the desire to return to their souls and despite the adverse weather conditions, Achniotes from all over Cyprus, as well as residents of Avgorou and Vrysoullon, celebrated the Epiphany at the Achna Dam.
The consecration ceremonies of the waters were attended by the community leaders of Achna, Nikos Vassilas, Avgorou, Panagiotis Michailas and Vrysoullon-Acheritou, Michalis Kaunas.
The community council of Achna then provided free coffee rolls, drinks and other delicacies at a cafeteria.
At the initiative of the community leader of Achna, Nikos Vassilas, donuts were offered to the national guards who serve in the prisons in the area of Achnas.
