With organized marches, the organized motorcyclists protested against the order of the Chief of Police, on Friday night.
According to a relevant announcement, "the planned protests of the organized motorcyclists of Cyprus took place in all cities, as a first response to the irrational, illegal and offensive order of the Chief of Police".
The organized motorcyclists express the hope that the Government will receive the message of the thousands of motorcyclists and will proceed with the immediate lifting of the decree in order to avoid escalation of the measures.

The events were local and included marches and in the province of Famagusta they started from the Ayia Napa water park and continued through the affected streets, Ayia Napa Island and Makarios and Protaras Hotel Avenue.
The statement added that support from many organized groups and ordinary citizens for the protests was strong and felt.
With the same announcement, the organized motorcyclists thank all those who helped in the protest and express their regret for any inconvenience caused to the public.
