They are Margaret Mackrell who came to Ayia Napa 48 times and the couple Brynley and Judith Davies who came 32 times.

Mrs. Mackrell was honored with the emblem of the "Tourism Ambassador" of Ayia Napa and with a commemorative plaque by the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettou, who also awarded her a posthumous plaque for her husband John Mackrell, who until June 2021 held in Agia Napa Napa 47 visits, while the Davies couple was honored by the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Mrs. Maria Tofini Tsantila.

Both the Mayor and the Cultural Officer of the Municipality thanked the honorees while noting how important it is both for the Local Authority and for the city itself that has a large number of regular visitors who promote the tourism product of Ayia Napa abroad with the more practical way.

They also pointed out that after their award they are now officially citizens of Ayia Napa and not just visitors.

The British honorees, visibly moved and happy for the honor, said that the reasons that prompted them to make so many visits are the great love they have for Ayia Napa, its hospitable people and because they have close friends.
