The possibility of the reopening of hotels in Famagusta causes us concern and should worry us and wake us all up, the President of the Parliament and DISY, Annita Dimitriou, points out through her announcement.
It indicates that "such illegal acts and actions constitute a direct undermining of the effort to restart the negotiations and resolve the Cyprus problem based on the agreed framework".
He also explains that "the passage of time without the creation of conditions of optimism, unfortunately creates new fait accompli every day, not only in the property issue but also in other aspects of the Cypriot state".
"These, as well as everything that took place in the last period of time, should be discussed and taken into account in the National Council. So that we can coordinately see how we face the challenges and how we create the conditions for the resumption of a meaningful dialogue", he adds.
He notes that "we have already requested the convening of the National Council through our letter to the President of the Republic. Which, in our opinion, should be done as soon as possible and not in September. We hope that this necessity will be perceived."
