"My desire is that this homeland remains our home, the home of our children and the generations to come.

I refuse, like you, to move elsewhere. I don't want to be taken elsewhere. Nor do I accept that we remain forever strangers in foreign places within our own homeland.

I want, like you, my house, we want our place. Enough!

The Municipality of Famagusta was and remains the most representative institution of our city that we must keep but also strengthen. I want us to make his voice thunderous so that everyone who has a role can hear it loud and clear, that, united as one, we want Famagusta to come forward again.

Because our city will become a gateway through which the liberation and reunification of our country will pass that will bring real peace and true progress.

I promise that for this I will fight with a weapon my love for Famagusta but also for our entire suffering homeland.

With these in mind, I am informing you that I have submitted to my party, the Democratic Alarm, my interest in claiming the anointing of the Mayoral candidate in the Municipality of Famagusta in the upcoming elections.

I hope that, as a guarantee of my many years of accumulated experience in the Municipality and in the public in general, my party will choose me as its candidate for the Municipality of the much-loved Famagusta.

Join me, I invite you, so that together we can rekindle hope, to restore faith. Our city deserves it, our history deserves it, our people deserve it, our children deserve it and demand it.

Municipal Councilor of Famagusta
