Two people were injured by an explosion that occurred during spiral machine operations on the Turkish-owned and Maltese-flagged tanker "MT AQASIA", off the coast of Famagusta.
As transmitted by the occupied, according to an announcement by the so-called police, Emre Can and Emre Kasiktsioglu suffered superficial burns on the face and hands of the first and on the hands and feet of the second, as a result of the explosion of an empty barrel which they tried to cut with the spiral machine.
The two injured were disembarked from the ship by teams of the so-called port corps and were taken to the hospital of occupied Famagusta for treatment.
The so-called authorities of the pseudo-state are investigating the accident.
