This is the announcement of PASYXE:

The Committee of Displaced Hoteliers, chaired by its President, and the Pancyprian Hoteliers Association (PASYXE), unequivocally condemn Turkey's unacceptable decision to open the Varosya Coastal Front, in violation of United Nations resolutions and Security Council resolutions.

United Nations Security Council Resolution 550 (1984) describes as unacceptable any attempt to settle any part of Varos by people outside its legal inhabitants and to bring the enclave of Famagusta under United Nations administration.

In the light of the new challenges on the part of Turkey, the Association considers it imperative that the United Nations and the European Union become more actively involved and put pressure on Turkey to end the latter
of its methods.

As it is known, members of the Association remain the owners of hotel units located in the occupied areas and mainly on the coastal front of Famagusta and Kyrenia, which for 46 years has been illegally usurped by the occupying regime.
