Morphou: Damage from a severe storm

A ten-minute storm with severe weather in the city of occupied Morphou caused several damages and traffic problems, according to Cyprus.

The newspaper publishes photos of felled trees, billboards and overturned cars. The article writes that it was the first natural disaster for the fall. Trees were cut off from the wind and fell on cars or cut off traffic, billboards were cut off and fell to the ground, power lines were cut and many neighborhoods were without electricity for hours.

The intense weather phenomena also affected neighboring villages of Morfos, Nikitas Morfos and Zodiac signs.
