Shock photos from the ghost town we have seen ook a few times. Video in the form of a trek through the creepily ruined streets of the once prosperous city, too.

Videotaped material over the "dead" Famagusta by drone, which is a dominant trend among filmmakers of our time, did not happen to be seen again.

It was published by the Turkish Cypriot newspaper Kibris and is being announced today at a very fast pace, both by Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriot users of social media.

The interest of the four-minute video lies in the fact that for the first time in history a panoramic view of a city abandoned for forty-two years is offered.

Starting the flight over the bombed-out hotels in the "Language" area, the remote-controlled device revolves around the entire ghost town, with its usual stability and calm, which in this case, could be said to be paradoxically, perhaps, to soothe.

The pre-war most commercial street of Famagusta, Dimokratias Street, stands out, while the different colors of the houses in the uninhabited and residential area make an impression. In the residential the buildings look white while in the uninhabited they have a brown color.

The suffering and misery that Famagusta has been going through for four decades is becoming distinct from the air.
