The Coordinating Committee of Famagusta Associations and Organizations is meeting tonight (11/9) in Limassol, against the background of the dramatic developments concerning the enclosed city.

The Turkish plans for the opening of Varosia under Turkish rule and settlement of the city, are in full swing as revealed by SIGMA with a specific map.

According to information from Sigmalive, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Famagusta is in the process of compiling a list of Greek hotel owners in the enclosed area.

By 1974 the total number of hotels and tourist accommodation (hotel apartments) was 68. Most of the owners of the relevant accommodation have passed away. The attempt to coordinate and locate their heirs is made in the shadow of information - rumors that the so-called "Foreign Minister" Kudret Ozersay intends to call them in October for "consultations".

The organized bodies, and more specifically the representatives of the Famagusta hoteliers, state that they do not intend to sell their properties in Turkey.

At the political level, the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, reiterated once again the possibility for the Cypriot government to appeal to the UN Security Council.

At the same time, the mayor of Famagusta, Simos Ioannou, in the show "Protoselido", stated that next Monday there will be a meeting with the President of the Republic to determine the next moves.
