A plot of land belonging to the Republic of Cyprus (public space) was illegally transferred, by decision of the "Council of Ministers to the occupied territories" to the "Ministry of Finance" with the aim of building a marina there for private boats.
As reported in the occupied territories, the decision was published in the "official gazette" and according to Jenny Duzen, the plot is located in the "area opened for tours in Varosi" and bears the numbers XXXIII/4 E 2, XXXIII/5 W 2, XXXIII /12 E 1 and XXXIII/13 W 1. They are plots 57 and 651 of the CD, it is added. The transfer was made based on a "legislation" of the "real estate commission", it noted.
T/c media also report that the "Ministry" gave "permits to purchase real estate to 277 foreigners".
