Patient aged only 24 years, treated with Covid-19 at the General Hospital of Famagusta, which operates as a Reference Hospital for patients with coronavirus, while people with fake vaccination certificates were also treated.

As Amalia Hatzigianni, Scientific Director of the General Hospitals of Larnaca - Famagusta, told KYPE, "today 66 patients with coronavirus are being treated at the Reference Hospital, eight of them in conditions of Increased Care, since they need closer monitoring. The youngest patient is 24 years old, the oldest is 90, while the average age of the patients is 58 years ".

He added that "these days there is a stabilization in the admissions of patients with coronavirus in the Hospital and more discharges are given, since there tends to be a balance in the imports and exports of patients. "Of the patients treated at the Reference Hospital, only 7 have been vaccinated."

He also stated that "in the Hospital there is a patient aged only 35 years, without underlying diseases who is intubated. "It is very sad to see young patients without any health problems end up in intubation."

Answering a relevant question, he confirmed "that last week a man was hospitalized, who had a vaccination certificate without being vaccinated. The patient has been discharged from the Hospital, while the case has been taken over by the Police, since a second person had been hospitalized, holding a vaccination certificate without getting the vaccine ".

In another question, Amalia Hatzigianni answered that "the medical, nursing and other staff of the Referral Hospital is particularly upset to see young people end up in the Intensive Care Unit and then in the Intensive Care Unit, while they could have avoided the worst with a , vaccination. All the staff of the public hospital since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, gave and continues to give their soul to offer help and save the lives of patients with the disease. Covid-19».

It is unfortunate, he continued, "while in all public hospitals, doctors and nursing staff are doing their best to save lives, to see some of our fellow human beings receive fake vaccination certificates from fellow doctors, endangering not only the their own lives, but also the lives of their loved ones. "Everyone should realize that the only means available to humans against coronavirus is vaccination and they should seize the opportunity given to them to get the vaccine."

It is noted that 25 patients with coronavirus are being treated at Larnaca General Hospital, one of whom is in the Intensive Care Unit.
