According to the lifeguards who transported the unfortunate woman ashore, she was found floating unconscious in the sea area of "Landa" beach in Ayia Napa around 3 pm on Tuesday, April 30.
Immediately, they rushed and transported the woman to the mainland where they provided her with all the necessary first aid. An ambulance was called and she was taken to a private clinic in Ayia Napa and then to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the doctors on duty confirmed her death.
