The "Season of Theatrical Performances" of the Municipality of Ayia Napa begins on January 27.
Twenty remarkable theatrical performances from amateur and professional theaters are included in this year's program.
With the children's play "In Bouklochora" from the "Mascarini" Theater, the "Three Months of Theatrical Performances" of the Municipality of Ayia Napa begins on Saturday, January 27, 2024, which for more than three months will present to the theater-loving public twenty remarkable performances, which have staged both amateur and professional theaters of our country.
The main objective of the Municipality of Ayia Napa through this great cultural event is to promote the art of Theater and to bring to the public of the Free Province of Famagusta the plays staged by the theaters of our place, which for the most part have headquarters in the other provinces, giving everyone the opportunity to watch remarkable performances with free admission.
Most performances will be held on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with some exceptions where they will take place on Saturday and with free entry except for the children's theater show "In Bouclohora" by the "Mascarini" Theater, which is based on the tale of the two distinguished kindergarten teachers from Ayia Napa, Maria Kremma Moti and Andri Kritikou, an optimistic story hymn to life that touches in a subtle way childhood cancer (27/01, time 5.00 pm), where the entrance is 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for the children and the proceeds will be given to the links for children with cancer.
The play "In Bouclohora" is written and directed by Markos Ioulos Drousiotis, while the other contributors are the following:

A few words about the project:
The king of Bouclohora is obsessed with the combed hair and the appearance of both himself and his inhabitants. On the occasion of Christmas, it organizes a competition for the best Bun in the country (the best hairstyle). Everything is turned upside down when Zoe makes her appearance in the competition with short hair. Will he change the king's cold heart?
