In the last few days, the Police proceeded to the immediate registration in the District Court of Famagusta, of cases of illegal sale of nitrous oxide (laughing gas), for immediate trial, resulting in the criminal conviction of two persons aged 23 and 22 years.

Specifically, the District Court of Famagusta, during the trial of two cases of illegal sale of nitrous oxide, today found guilty 23-year-old and 22-year-old for the offense of negligent and reckless acts, ie reckless administration of anesthetic.

The court imposed a fine of 1200 euros on the 23-year-old, who was found by members of the Police shortly after midnight last Thursday, August 16, in the area of ​​Ayia Napa, to be engaged in the sale of nitrous oxide.

The 22-year-old, who was found by members of the Police around 1:00 in the early hours of last Friday, August 17, in the area of ​​Ayia Napa, engaged in the sale of nitrous oxide, the Court imposed a fine of 900 euros.

These two cases were registered by the Police for trial in the District Court of Famagusta last Friday.

It is recalled that last Friday, too, the trial was completed two other cases of illegal sale of nitrous oxide, which in the previous days had been registered directly by the Police in the District Court of Famagusta for their immediate trial.

The court imposed a fine of 1100 euros on a 35-year-old and a fine of 700 euros on a 23-year-old after finding them guilty of negligent and reckless acts and reckless administration of a drug, namely nitrogen oxide anesthetic. .

The investigation of the four cases was undertaken by the Ayia Napa Police Station.
