The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Savvas Perdios, expressed his enthusiasm for the perfect organization, the high level of infrastructure but also for the strict observance of hygiene measures on the beaches of Ayia Napa, during his visit last Thursday with the Mayor Mr. Christos. Zannettou and the Inspector of the Beaches Department Mr. Dimitris Pateras on the beaches.
The Undersecretary stressed that this excellent image should be an example to be imitated by all coastal Local Authorities.
The visit to the beaches was preceded by a meeting with the mayor at the Municipal Hall where they discussed several issues that concern the Tourism of Ayia Napa and especially the difficulties faced by the tourism industry due to the pandemic as well as the political and promotional actions taken by the Ministry of the whole situation.
The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, in his statements thanked the Deputy Minister of Tourism for the visit and for the personal interest he shows in Ayia Napa and expressed his confidence that the Undersecretary will do everything possible to make the year better for Tourism industry as smoothly as possible.
