Within two weeks, he is expected to be discharged from the private clinic where the 7-year-old boy from Russia, who was injured last Friday, is being treated together with his mother, at an amusement park in Ayia Napa.

The condition of the child and his mother is very good, said the General Director of the Ministry of Health, Christina Giannaki, who on Friday afternoon visited the Polyclinic "Health" in Limassol, the 7-year-old and his family and was informed by the treating physicians.

"Apart from the fact that he has received an excellent treatment, but also a very large and long surgery, the child is in very good condition, as well as his mother", said Ms. Giannaki, emphasizing that the Ministry is ready to help if needed.

At the same time, he congratulated doctors and nurses "for the excellent work and treatment that was given to the 7-year-old child and his mother" and noted that he is expected to be discharged within two weeks.
