The 45th Voluntary Blood Donation of the Municipality of Ayia Napa was held with great success, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa organized in collaboration with the Famagusta Blood Center of the Ministry of Health, the Local Blood Donation Committee and all the Local Bodies its 45th voluntary blood donation.
The blood donation took place in the reception area of the Municipal Building from 5:00pm-8:30pm.
The attendance at the blood drive was touching as 73 people attended to donate blood.
The Mayor Mr. Christou Zannettou expresses his public thanks to the blood donors, the doctors, the nurses and all the volunteers - employees of the Municipality for the commendable efforts they made and as a result another blood donation of the Municipality was crowned with great success.
"Offering this supreme good to our fellow man in need," he added, "is a wonderful act, so we congratulate all those who responded to our call and donated blood, assuring at the same time that we will always continue with the cooperation of the Famagusta Blood Center of the Ministry of Health, the Local Blood Donation Committee and all Local Agencies to organize voluntary blood donations at regular intervals".
