A study with additional modifications in the existing tourist village Aktea Beach Village with the aim of converting it into a 5-star hotel in the Municipality of Ayia Napa was submitted to the environmental authority.
The existing hotel unit has a capacity of 148 rooms and consists of a main building with 21 apartment buildings.
The changes that will be made concern:
GROUND FLOOR
-Expansion of indoor space in places where there are open spaces today
MESOPATOMA
- Conversion to a mechanical floor
1rd floor
Construction of restaurant, bar, kitchen and terrace
2rd floor
-Construction of a themed restaurant
The project envisages the demolition of 12 buildings and the construction of a five-storey building with 182 rooms and underground parking.
It also provides for the renovation of 72 existing rooms.
With the completion of the projects, the capacity of the hotel unit will be 254 rooms out of the 148 it has today.
The estimated execution period of the project is estimated at 18 months.
