The Municipality of Ayia Napa, honoring the 21st of June, World Music Day, organizes in collaboration with Politia Fm, in its emblematic coastal pedestrian street, The Line Concert with the young Cypriot artists Giannis Margaris, Emilio Ciriozioli Moralami, Milabous, George M and Andrea Zampa.
The On Line Concert will take place on Sunday 21 June (on the day of World Music Day) from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm and will be broadcast live on the social media of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, Politia Fm and its Page Cyprus Media. At the same time there will be a live broadcast on the Make Music Nicosia page as well as on the official Make Music official body of the Organization in Cyprus.
The celebration of Music Day, also known as World Music Day, was established in 1982 in France on the initiative of then-Minister of Culture Jacques Lang and has since established itself as a major cultural event. Since 1985, on the initiative of Melina Mercouri, it was held for the first time outside France, in Athens as the 1st European Capital of Culture and then the music festival spread to about 1000 cities, 120 countries.
The event is under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism.
