A conference of the Network of Principals of Larnaca-Ammochosto Primary Schools on the "Effective Operation and Improvement of School Units" was successfully held at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Agia Napa "Giorgos Seferis".

About fifteen Principals of Primary Schools of the Province of Larnaca/Ammochostos took part in the conference held on Monday 04 March 2024 at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Agia Napa "Giorgos Seferis", within the framework of the Primary Schools Network of the Province of Larnaca/Ammochostos under the guidance of the Inspector of Primary Education Mrs. Elenis Papanikolas.

During the conference, issues related to the effective operation and improvement of school units were discussed. The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, attended the conference and addressed a brief greeting, who thanked the organizers for choosing the "Giorgos Seferis" Cultural Center to host the conference, an important venue for Ayia Napa, which was a personal his vision that after persistent and concerted efforts became a reality.

He also assured that both the Municipality of Ayia Napa and himself personally will always be by their side for whatever they need.
For her part, Mrs. Papanikola stated that "through a process of critical reflection, issues related to the operation and improvement of our school units were extensively discussed and best practices emerged."

He also thanked the Municipality of Ayia Napa for providing the cultural space to hold the meeting and especially the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettos who, as he pointed out, always supports the efforts of the school units of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, but also of the wider region , and it is hoped that with the consolidation of the Municipalities the new enlarged School Ephorate that will be created will show the same zeal.
