AGIA NAPA: Arrest of four young people for laughing gas

Cases of negligent and reckless acts are being investigated by the Police against four persons, who were found last night, in the province of Famagusta, to illegally sell nitrous oxide - a gas of laughter.

Specifically, during an inspection operation of the Famagusta Crime Prevention Unit, to combat the phenomenon of nitrogen oxide use - laughing gas, members of the OPE, located in areas of Ayia Napa, two 20-year-olds, one 21-year-old and one 24-year-old, to sell his oxide nitrogen.

In the possession of the four suspects, the members of the Police located a total of four metal bottles, 209 unused ampoules, 40 used ampoules, 329 empty balloons and the amount of 354 euros, which were kept as evidence for further examinations.

The two 20-year-olds, the 21-year-old and the 24-year-old were taken to the local Police Station, where after being interrogated, they were charged in writing for the crimes under investigation, to be summoned before a Court for trial of negligent and reckless acts and illegal sale of nitrous oxide.

The Ayia Napa Police Station continues the examinations.
