The arrest of a 35-year-old resident of the province of Famagusta, to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of the sale of laughing gas, in the province of Famagusta.
Specifically, according to the Police, after evaluating information, members of the Police put under surveillance a store in the province of Famagusta, owned by the 35-year-old. During the surveillance, the 35-year-old was seen by the police inflating a balloon, using a metal bottle and giving it to an unknown girl, who paid him and left the store.
The members of the Police then entered the premises and, based on a search warrant, searched the store. A metal bottle, 1126 empty balloons, 154 unused ampoules, a used ampoule and the amount of € 120 were found and confiscated as evidence.
The 35-year-old was arrested and detained to facilitate interrogations.
The Ayia Napa Police Station is investigating the case.
