The emergency collection campaign for our fire-affected fellow human beings in Greece was completed with absolute success.
With the blessings of the Holy Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta, the campaign in the Church of Panagia Ayia Napa started a few days ago, with the response of the people being really moving.
Today, soldiers and other volunteers gathered at the Church, where they loaded what was collected in two containers, which will be transported to Greece, to our fellow human beings who burned their houses and properties and really need them.

Speaking to Famagusta.News, Father Vassilios said that clothes, household utensils, food, cleaners and other items were collected, which will be sent to Kalamata and Evia, in order to reach the people who need them.
Father Vassilios stated that the effort was collective, thanked all those who contributed to the effort in every way, but also the volunteers who have been rushing to the Church of Panagia Ayia Napa for days to help make the boxes, separate and are made.
It is estimated that the containers will carry 10-12 tons of necessities, such as spaghetti, rice, canned goods, cleaning supplies, clothing, crockery and kitchenware, as well as other household items.
He also sent his thanks to the Municipalities of the Province of Famagusta who helped in the great effort, as well as the brigadier who sent soldiers to help load the items.
Their satisfaction was also expressed by volunteers who were at the spot today, to whom they were given lunch.
