The Municipality of Ayia Napa is constructing a park on Nisi Avenue.

As stated by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Christos Zannettou, “the Municipality has announced an Open Tender for concluding a project contract for the construction of a park on Nisi Avenue. The park will have 35 parking spaces and parking for the disabled, recycling points with semi-submersible bins, a toy, green spaces, seats and other facilities for the public ".
He added that "the estimated cost of the project is around 375 thousand euros. With the creation of this park, the Municipality hopes that it will contribute to the construction of a green space but also a place of rest for the whole world, locals and foreigners in the center of Ayia Napa ".
He said, however, that "due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Municipality of Ayia Napa in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the competent services will examine whether the project can be implemented or whether we should delay it."
As stated by Mr. Zannettou, "those interested can obtain the relevant terms and instructions from the internet on the website http://www.eprocurement.gov.cy. Tenders must be submitted in the electronic procurement system (eProcurement), at the tender site on the website http://www.eprocurement.gov.cy no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 07 August 2020 ".
