A regular visitor from Sweden was named "Tourism Ambassador" of Ayia Napa on the occasion of his 25th visit.
This is Nils Ove Hallin, who in recent years has made 25 visits to Ayia Napa for vacation purposes.
According to the announcement of the Municipality of Ayia Napa "in a modest ceremony held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Municipal Hall, the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Ms. On behalf of the Mayor, Mr. Christos Zannettos, Maria Tofini Tsantila honored the Swedish regular visitor with a commemorative plaque and the "Ambassador of Tourism" emblem.
