According to the image, unconscious people seem to have thrown empty plastic cans of bleach in the area near the Sea Caves in Cape Greco.
The incident was reported to Famagusta.News a while ago by a reader who was in the area.
FN contacted the Mayor of Ayia Napa, who said he was unaware of the incident, as it seems that the bottles were thrown very recently.
Mr. Karousos expressed his anger with the incident since the Municipality is making superhuman efforts for the cleanliness of the natural landscape of Ayia Napa and stated that he is going to the area at the same time with the Head of Cleaning of the Municipality.
