He describes the dramatic moments experienced by the victims of the attempted murder that took place in the early hours of Sunday in a cafeteria in Ayia Napa, in describes in REPORT, one of the injured, Costas Fousias, 32 years old from Avgorou, taxi driver.
The 32-year-old, who continues to be treated at the General Hospital of Famagusta, said that he was in the cafeteria with his friends, to which they used to go often. As he said at the time of the mob attack, there were no other patrons in the store.
After the first shots were fired, a member of the group started shouting at the others to fall down, followed by scenes of panic and terror.
"There were six of us and we went to have our drink. We often go to this cafe. We were the only table. At one point one of our friends started shouting "fall down, fall down". It was a few seconds. When he finished, he had glasses, fragments and blood down. The girl who was injured and I stayed down and could not get up. As the bullets hit me, I felt my body pounding. For a moment I thought I was going to die. We had a Saint, God and wishes ".
The 32-year-old received three bullets, stating that "they hit first elsewhere and reached my body exiled and that's why I was saved". One bullet hit him in the right leg, below the ankle, the second in the pelvis and one in the chest. He also has various scars on his body.
"The other two friends of ours who were not injured (there were six people at the table) because there was a pillar in front and he cut the bullets", Costas explained speaking to REPORTER.
It is recalled that out of the 25 shots, three other people were injured, including a 26-year-old woman who suffered gunshot wounds to the right kidney and a gunshot wound to the leg, for which she underwent surgery.
The other two wounded have multiple gunshot wounds and fragments on various parts of their bodies, some of them penetrating.
