The beaches of Ayia Napa meet all the criteria of the National Judge of CYMEPA
This was decided during the intensive inspection that took place yesterday, Thursday, July 30, on all the beaches of Ayia Napa by the National Judge of CYMEPA (competent body) for the awarding of the "Blue Flag".
The competent body found that all the criteria set by the National Judge for clean and safe beaches, such as the quality of bathing water, safety and service (toilets, changing rooms, etc.), markings, as well as access to the beaches for the disabled.
In his statements, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, stated that “it proves once again that the Municipality of Ayia Napa applies all the criteria of the institution and that very good work is being done by the Municipality.
"It is not by chance that he added that all our beaches are awarded the" Blue Flag "and assured that the Municipality will continue the effort so that the beaches remain clean and safe for our citizens and visitors."
