The promotion and financial support of the big Charity Event "Love Skewer", which will take place on Tuesday 19 October 2021 on "Agios Christoforos" Offer and Love Center (KEPA) in Paralimni for the construction Palliative Care Center and which is under the auspices of the Minister of Health was the focus of the discussion during today's (Wednesday, October 13, 2021) meeting at the Ayia Napa City Hall of the Mayor Christos Zannettos and the Minister of Health Michalis Hadjipandella.
They also discussed issues related to pandemic with the Minister of Health to make special mention to the Mayor for the valuable assistance and support of the Municipality in carrying out vaccinations with mobile units in the Municipality of Ayia Napa, something which, as he pointed out, contributed the most so that the Province of Famagusta has a high vaccination coverage.
The Mayor of Ayia Napa for the purposes of the event handed it over to the Minister a token amount of EUR 500 and assured him that the competent services of the Municipality will take all necessary actions to promote the event so that all citizens are informed about this important Charity Event and at the same time to contribute to the upgrading of the services of this project, which as noted is the only one in our Province that supports and serves our fellow human beings while doing a great philanthropic, social and humanitarian work.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of KEPA was present at the meeting Dimitris Papaevelthontos, the Municipal Councilor of Deryneia Lucas Polykarpou and the Municipal Secretary of the Municipality Fotos Kikillos.
