A fire in the ground floor apartment of a two-storey building (complex) in Deryneia broke out today around 09:30 in the morning.
Members of the Police and the Fire Service from the Famagusta Fire Station responded with two staffed vehicles.
The fire caused extensive damage to the entire apartment. The occupant of the apartment was absent. A dog that was inside the apartment was rescued by the Fire Department.
