The Turkish President warned that "they will not waste another 50 years in negotiations with the maximalist positions of the Greek Cypriots", while he reiterated his vision for "a solution based on the cooperation of two separate states and as long as the sovereign rights of the Turkish Cypriots stemming from the agreements of 1960", as he said.

The Turkish President and the leader of the pseudo-state jointly made statements in occupied Nicosia shortly before 5 pm and after two and a half hours of meetings, the first one in person and the remaining one and a half hours between the delegations.

Erdogan said that their priority is to transfer electricity from Turkey to the pseudo-state which will solve the problem of electrification and he wished that the reconstruction of approximately 1900 social houses in the Deryneia area would soon begin.

Regarding the eastern Mediterranean, he said that they will continue to defend the sovereign and legal rights of Turkey, while in a question about the Greek-Turkish and the Aegean, he said that his wish is for the Aegean to turn into a sea of ​​peace.

He also announced a number of other projects in the occupied territories, which are constantly being reported in the media.

Mr. Erdogan said that it is a tradition for the Turkish President to go on his first trip outside Turkey after his election to the pseudo-state and he followed this tradition, while from the occupied territories he will go directly to Azerbaijan where he will also have meetings there, he will spend the night in Baku and will return to Ankara tomorrow.
