The Tourist, Commercial and Industrial Company of Famagusta (TEVEA) within the cycle of contacts that has started with the Local Authorities of the District of Famagusta had a meeting this morning with the Mayor of Deryneia Mr. Andros Karagiannis.
The meeting discussed the financial situation in which the companies of the Province have found themselves, due to the effects of the coronation pandemic and the issue of the reform of the Local Government.
Then a TEVEA delegation participated in a teleconference with the District Secretariat of DISY Famagusta, in the presence of the President of DISY Mr. Averof Neophytou.
TEVEA submitted and analyzed the proposals it submitted to the President of the Republic from April on the resumption of the economy to the participants in the teleconference and a discussion on these issues followed.
Both DISY and TEVEA agreed that such meetings - discussions will continue and a new teleconference on the issues that concern the businessmen of the Famagusta District will be determined soon.
TEVEA thanks both the Mayor of Deryneia Mr. Karagiannis and the District Secretariat of Famagusta and the President of DISY for today's meetings.
