The Police proceeded to arrest a 39-year-old resident of Famagusta province, to facilitate the investigations regarding numerous cases of burglaries and thefts, committed between the months of January and August 2023.
The target of the perpetrators were EAC substations, in various areas of the province of Famagusta, from which a quantity of copper and other items had been stolen, the total value of which exceeds €30,000.
A testimony was obtained against the 39-year-old, during the investigation of the above cases, by the TAE of Famagusta. Based on this testimony, a judicial arrest warrant was issued against him, pursuant to which he was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
