A teacher was reported to the Police for violence against a student in the free city of Famagusta according to what the newspaper reports "Liberal».
According to Police sources cited by "Liberal", the complaining parent went this morning with his 13-year-old son to the Deryneia Police Station and filed a complaint.
According to the allegation presented and examined by the Police, this morning and during the first break, a High School teacher of the area allegedly grabbed the minor by the hair on the grounds that the latter "did karate" on a classmate.
The complaining parent is said to be giving his own version of the disputed incident and claiming that in two other cases during the past week the same teacher showed violent behavior towards the 13-year-old.
According to information, the complainants were given a medical form so that the minor could be examined by a government doctor as per the procedure followed in such cases.
In the context of the police examinations, it was expected that the teacher would also be called to give his own position on the incident.
