Famagusta Province: Four young men in prison for burglary – They stole a shotgun

Four young men from 18 to 20 years old are in prison

In Famagusta, after a trial residential burglary case and stealing among other items and a hunting firearm, the District Court sentenced the four defendants, aged between 18 and 20, to prison terms of between seven and nine months.

Specifically, the Court imposed nine-month prison sentences on the 20-year-old and one of the two 18-year-olds, an eight-month prison sentence on the second 18-year-old and a seven-month prison sentence on the 19-year-old.

The four of them were arrested after evidence that emerged during the investigation of the case, which was reported last December, at the Famagusta Police Department.

As had been reported, household appliances with a total value of 1,000 euros and a small amount of money had been stolen from the residence. The theft of the hunting firearm from the residence, as well as a number of gold pieces, was established after the weapon was located, during the investigations conducted by the Famagusta Police Department as part of the investigation of the case.

Upon completion of the police examinations, the case was registered before the Larnaca District Court, for immediate adjudication.
