Saturday, 48 hours after the first night of the curfew was imposed after 23:00, his news team Famagusta.News took to the streets of the Province of Famagusta to convey to you the image that you now record during the evening hours.

Our team, with a special permit, was released in the four major municipalities of the Province (Paralimni, Sotira, Deryneia and Ayia Napa) after 23:00, where we found that the majority of citizens complied with the new measures, as well as at least two hours we circulated, we did not notice any violation by the citizens.
The few on the street were returning home workers from work, who had the required paperwork with them, and some food distributors who were allowed to work.
The Police, for their part, carried out strict and numerous inspections, with many patrols in order to fully comply with the new measures, in the hope of all to limit the spread of the virus.
So the Province is "silent", with a typical example that on our way from Deryneia to Ayia Napa, on the road we saw only 3 patrols which were conducting patrols.
It is pointed out that from Saturday morning until Sunday morning, from the police checks, 7 citizens were reported for not using a mask and 2 citizens for moving during the evening hours (23: 00-05: 00) without a document.
