Problems were brought by the intense weather phenomena that are ongoing in Famagusta District. Areas of the province were left without electricity.
The Municipality of Agia Napa and the community of Liopetriou remained without electricity since 10:30 in the morning.
According to EAC press representative Christina Papadopoulou, the outages were caused by a fault and it will take at least two hours to restore the electricity supply.
Mrs. Papadopoulou mentioned that power outages also occurred in Sotira.
Workshops are on hand for restoration and correction.
