Submitted today from 8:30am. – 12.30 pm, in the Famagusta Provincial Administration, the nominations for the Presidents of the Provincial Organizations, the Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Councilors as well as for the members of School Ephorates.
According to data from the Elections Service, the total number of voters who have the right to vote in the upcoming municipal elections in the province of Famagusta amounts to 36.540 of which 33.871 Cypriot voters, 2.669 Communal and 8 Turkish Cypriots.
On Monday, nominations will be submitted for the election of community leaders and members of community councils.
The election process will be held on June 9.
