The local authorities of the Famagusta Free Province reaffirmed their joint request for recognition of the Famagusta Tourist, Commercial and Industrial Company as a Regional Chamber.
According to a relevant announcement, in a joint meeting held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the offices of the Municipality of Paralimni with the Board of Directors of TEVEA, the long-term support of the Famagusta Tourism, Commercial and Industrial Company for the promotion of and the joint effort for official recognition of TEVEA by the state in accordance with the joint declaration signed by all Mayors and Common Mayors in December 2012.
During the meeting, the constant and timeless goal of TEVEA for the joint promotion of the demands of the residents of Famagusta province was redefined and it was emphasized by the delegates that they will proceed together to claim the demands and realize the common vision for the whole province.
After the end of the session, the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita took place with the lucky Mayor Sotiras, Georgios Takkas.
