The Famagusta District Administration sent a suggestion to the local authorities for the employment of unemployed young people to clean the sidewalks and public grass.
The letter dated 26 February 2019 is addressed to the Municipalities and Communities of the province of Famagusta and was sent today to the public by the Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Cooperation which in a letter to the District Administration of Famagusta on 12 February requested the employment of unemployed roadside and public lawns with lawn mowers instead of spraying them.
The letter was sent following a decision of the Movement on February 11 regarding the issue of grass spraying in the Municipalities and Communities across Cyprus.
