The "Isaac-Solomos Memorial Initiative" from the first day of its foundation, set as a goal, on the one hand, the memory of oblivion to prevail, through a continuous journey to Tassos and Solomos with final destination Kyrenia and Famagusta and let justice prevail, let their souls rest, let the families they left behind calm down.
The request for the resumption of the proceedings regarding the arrest warrants against the murderers of Tassos Isaac and Solomos Solomos was carried to every corner of Cyprus, to Berlin, to our Greece, but also to the President of the Republic, with whom members of the "Initiative" in 2016. In the presence of the parents of the two heroes, but also of Tasos's daughter, Anastasia, it had become clear that the motorcyclists would not rest if the forgotten and withdrawn arrest warrants against Erhan Arikli, who claims to be the next occupation leader, Kenan Akin, a former "minister" of the occupation regime and the rest who were identified as the assassins of Tassos and Solomos.
The "Isaac-Solomos Memorial Initiative", on the occasion of the announcement of the "candidacy" of Erhan Arikli for the illegal elections of October 11 in the occupied territories, recently sent the following letter to the President of the Republic, requesting the fight for justice, of procedures to arrest the killers of August 1996. Memory will win.
