Despite his decisions European Court of Human Rights, Turkey never complied and the natural and moral perpetrators of the murders were never held accountable, says Nikos Dendias on the occasion of the completion 26 years since the murder of Tasos Isaac and Solomos Solomos.
"Today, 11/8, marks 26 years since the heinous murder of Tasos Isaac by the organs of the Turkish occupation in Cyprus", the Minister of Foreign Affairs points out in a post on social media.
This was followed, on 14/8, by the murder of Solomos Solomos, he adds.
In fact, Nikos Dendias underlines that "despite the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights to investigate the case, Turkey never complied and the natural and moral perpetrators of the murders were never held accountable."
