3rd FAMAGUSTA CYCLING TEAM LEFKARA UPHILL ROAD RACE 2021 CYCLING RACE!
The 9rd Lefkara Uphill Road Race, organized by our Association for the 3rd consecutive year, was held with great success today, Sunday, May 3th. For another year the event was excellent despite the fact that we followed a strict protocol in the context of Lock Down to deal with a pandemic covid-19.
A race in which more than 120 athletes from all clubs and athletes in Cyprus took part. Our Association participated in the race with 7 athletes: Konstantinos Kouskoullis Marios Loizou Marios Leonidou Biser Mihaylov Fokas Germanos Michalis Theocharous and Antonis Giakoumis, in various categories. In the Master 1 category our athlete Michalis Theocharous won the 1st place, in the Master 3 category our athlete Biser Mixailov won the 2nd place, CFA 19-39 our athlete Fokas Germanos won the 3rd place!
Congratulations to our athletes and we always wish them success. We thank all the athletes who took part, all the friends who attended the race, the team leaders for the faithful implementation of the protocol, the President, vice president and members of the KO PO who attended and helped the race. Also the friend and former member of the Federation Harry Georgakis who is always by our side.
We thank the Communities of Vavatsinia Skarinou, Lefkara and the Deputy Mayor of Lefkara Mr. Andrea Doukanari, the police and the hospital. We owe a lot of thanks to the friends who helped for the smooth running of the race.
