The 14-year-old student from Frenaros was taken to the General Hospital of Nicosia, where he was abducted this afternoon at a crossroads on Foti Pitta Street in Frenaros by a vehicle trying to overtake the bus from which the student disembarked.
According to the latest information from the Police, the student has a lung fracture, a concussion and a skull fracture. His condition is considered serious.
According to the information, a bus stopped near a pedestrian crossing on Foti Pitta Street in the direction of the community center to take down students around 1:40 at noon.

During the attempt of the student of “Panos Ioannou” High School, 14 years old, to cross the road due to a pedestrian crossing, he was abducted by a vehicle driven by a 45 year old man who seems to be trying to overtake the bus from the opposite lane.
An ambulance rushed to the scene with which the student was taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta. According to the latest information from the Police, his health condition is considered serious and he is undergoing the necessary examinations.
The driver of the vehicle, aged 45, was taken to the Police Department where he is being interrogated.
